Zadar is part of my wanderlust collection which is inspired by places I have or want to visit.

I was inspired to create this piece after reading about Zadar, Croatia. Not only does it seem like an incredibly beautiful coastal town but they have this architectural sound object called the Sea Organ. This experimental musical instrument plays music from the waves as they crash onto a set of marble stairs at the shoreline. Sounds amazing!

This piece is a deep blue color and is made using painted cotton canvas strips and acrylic mediums. It measures 24” x 30” and comes ready to hang with a light maple floating frame.
